Physical Fitness & Nutrition

April 2015 485(1)The Physical Fitness & Nutrition tier address wellness, fitness, and nutrition.  In this session, the youth will learn how to interpret nutritional labels, basic cooking skills, and how to set a table.  The youth  prepare a simple meal and eat family  style together.  A guest speaker provides tips on proper exercise and relaxation techniques, followed by a group physical activity, such as basketball or running, ending the class with a meditation or yoga session.
